This private tour begins before sunset and continues through the night, combining professional tuna fishing strategy, night fishing atmosphere, bait fish activity, and the unforgettable moment when the first light of sunrise appears over the Adriatic.
This tour starts one hour before sunset. We leave the harbor and head toward the fishing area where bluefin tuna are currently active. The exact location is not fixed because tuna fishing depends on movement, bait fish, current conditions, and professional observation at sea.
Once we reach the fishing grounds, Tuna Pro uses sonar to search for sardine schools. When we find a promising spot, the boat is positioned with a GPS bow motor. This allows us to hold the position precisely while fishing. Strong reflectors are then used to attract plankton. The plankton attracts sardines and mackerel, and these bait fish attract bluefin tuna.
This is the heart of the night fishing method. The sea becomes active around the boat. Small fish gather in the light, the water moves, and the possibility of a tuna strike is always present. The waiting is part of the experience. The atmosphere is completely different from a daytime tour.
