Skipper Alexander
A life on the water — Atlantic, Pacific, Indian. And the Adriatic since 2002.
Alexander Schmid discovered his passion for fishing at the age of five. He is a passionate fly fisherman and has gained extensive big game fishing experience in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean.
Since 2002 he has lived with his family in Istria and fished the Adriatic ever since. Alexander is a two-time Istrian Big Game Fishing Champion.

The Boat

Almost 11 meters of offshore-capable hull, with two cabins, salon and full kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet, and modern fishfinder + navigation electronics. We are on the water nearly every day, often far offshore — sometimes in international waters.
Equipment
Built for serious bluefin tuna.
80 lb class rods, Shimano Tiagra 80 reels, hollow core and top shot rigs. The fight is taken from a bow-mounted fighting chair using a sitting harness — the right setup for the strongest fish in the Adriatic.
